Community

Our culture says that meaning in life is found through individual pursuits. Though we as individuals are greatly valued by God, a life that seek’s only its own fulfillment cannot ultimately satisfy. We all need to live for something bigger than ourselves and it starts by being meaningfully connected to each other in commitment to God and his ways.

Small Groups

join our bbt community

A church is made of both the bigger, more formal Sunday gathering and the smaller, informal weekly gatherings.  We need both. Small Groups are groups of about 6 to 12 people that gather to learn more about faith and how to live it out. As you commit yourself to a small group, you’ll find support, prayer, comforting and challenging discussion, and most important brothers and sisters who will come to know you best and walk life with you.

Please consider joining a Virtual Small Group. We can’t stress enough how important it is to keep meeting together during this time of physical-distancing. God says in Genesis 2:18, “It is not good for man to be alone.” In Hebrews 10:25, Christians are commanded, “Do not neglect meeting together…”. Life and faith are meant to be shared experiences.

We need others and we actually owe ourselves to others. If you want to be in a group, there is a group available for you! Please email register@brokenbreadtoronto.com to sign up or if you have any questions.

Care Ministry

do you Need prayer or help?

One of the purposes of the church is to meet the needs of people. Unfortunately, many people go through suffering and difficulty alone, and therefore without help. If you have any needs or if you know of someone in our wider church community in need, you can advocate for them as well. Email care@brokenbreadtoronto.com or check the appropriate box(es) and submit this form.  We will work to provide in whatever way we can. All requests are confidential and will be shared only with our Care Ministry team.

CRC Outreach

Engage the City With Us

About nine times a year, Broken Bread Toronto prepares and serves a meal to about 250 guests at the CRC Community Housing Centre in downtown Toronto. Each outreach requires about 15 volunteers. If you are interested in supporting this ministry please fill out the form below, or you can email info@brokenbreadtoronto.com for more details.
